Recently, there appears to be many PTCs encountering problems with the new/stricter policies by Paypal. This has indeed been a big bummer as I am just beginning to enjoy myself earning free small money from these sites. Hope these issues will be resolved soon.

I won the Jackpot!!!

I won the jackpot in Getref.com. It is a free-to-join program to allow you to earn credits (through joining programs and clicking on ads) for spending to buy referrals for your own programs. Best of all is all this can happen without paying a single cent!

Two days ago, I logged in and checked the account and found out I have won the jackpot!! It consists of 5 months of Gold membership, 85 credits and $43.02. It all happened even before I really understood what Gold membership would mean to me. I was still abit sceptical about this and cashed out anyhow. Within less than 24 hours, I see the money in my paypal account! I know, I know, $43 is really cheap thrill but it is real money and allows me to grow my "Earn money for free" programs. I cannot be happier.. :-)

Buy Buy Buy!

I wished I posted this earlier. Bought RAS two days ago when it bottomed out at $6.60. It is now $7.90 and still climbing even when the indices are down. This stock has momentum and potential to hit $10 and more again very soon.

New Money Making Machine Found!

Happy New Year! I know, I know..I have been missing for quite some time. Sorry about that (though I doubt I am missed in the blog world at all..).

What have I been up to? Well, I am still enjoying trading the world markets. More importantly, I have found a new income stream! Best of all, it doesn't require any startup investment. I have spent alot of time exploring into this area and am now convinced it has a great potential, possibly even outshining my trading and other investment income in future.

I am collating more information in the meantime and will put up more details in my website shortly.

Grand Tour

Sorry, I have been missing again. I have been busy planning my grand tour to celebrate my big 30 day later this month and the Christmas holidays. As such, I have spent less time updating my blog and existing website. I have created a new website though called Travel All Continents - in line with my travel plans.

In regards to the trading tips, hope everyone else is enjoying the roller coaster ride of the recent tops and bottoms. I certainly have had enjoyable times. There are also times when I have to stop loss but it's all good in the end.

To Live, Not to Exist

I was reading a new philosophical book today and came across a very meaningful quote
"The proper function of man is to live, not to exist.” Jack London
This is so true and absolutely fits the gist of my website and blog, i.e. to live our life the way we want/should and not merely existing or be affected by the expectations of others.

However, this got me thinking.. perhaps, I have used the wrong name for my website and blog! We should live, not exist! Oh well, the name is set and restarting all over again would be painful. I'm glad I have set it as "FINE Existence" instead of just "Existence".

So, if you have to just exist, make sure you do it in a fine, graceful manner!

On a separate topic..trading. These few days saw another wave of up and down swings. I hope everyone has benefited from the swings. Last Friday saw a huge downfall of the US market on the 20th anniversary of Black Monday in 1987. This should put anyone who were shorting (almost any stocks!) at a gain position.

This morning, optimism is overwhelming all thanks to Apple's glowing results shielding traders' eyes from the subprime and inflation issues for now. I am all ready for the bulls action today with long positions on technology counters and Chinese ADRs. With yesterday's pullback on Gold prices, I am also ready to re-enter long positions in Gold.

Another Retail Therapy Day!

Hope everyone else enjoyed the last two trading days as much as I did! The spectacular upward trend in techs have been welcomed.. It helped to justify my (yet another) retail therapy day today. Now with my head feeling much lighter (literally so, since I cut around 7 inches off my crowning glory), I am in a better mood (not that I was in a bad mood anyways).

Big movements in the market always mean big opportunities that make me a happy bunny! I know, I know, I haven't been posting much in my website this week. It has been quite a busy week. I guess I have to adjust and include my web postings in my weekly targets as well now.

If you have been following my writeups so far, you probably would ask.. what targets would a retired person have? Oh yeah...contrary to most people's believe, I am indeed a busy person! Like I said before, it takes some effort for me to get into what I am today, and discipline, discipline, discipline is definitely required. I believe no one should live aimlessly. We should all have targets/goals in our live.

Some of my weekly targets:-
1. Book to read;
2. Research on next travel destination;
3. Monitor and keeping up-to-date with stock market movements;
4. Research on better/other investing techniques.

Does that sound like hard work? Hmm.. I guess that is subjective. More importantly, these are what I enjoy doing and they are mostly done at a leisurely pattern anyway since I have already worked out a comfortable investing style and what is really required is to stick to it (that's really what discipline, discipline, discipline is all about). The rest of the research is really to keep myself abreast with better or latest wealth accumulation methods.

Enough of side-tracking.. have a wonderful day and hope you are starting to plan your weekend activities already! It's Thursday!

Verbal Diarrhoea or Useful Advice

These days my mind is filled with "What should I include in my website and blog today?"

I have a thought this morning... I set up the FINE EXISTENCE website with the intent of helping others, hoping that like-minded people can attain success without having to go through some of those obstacles I have experienced. But we all know that sometimes the so-called advices may not be appreciated or might be viewed differently.

Most (if not all) of us have experienced our mothers nagging. How many of us appreciated that at that very moment? How many of us replied with thank you and end up with a happy mood after that?

I have also read many books that promise alot in the beginning but turned out to be an utter disappointment.

It takes good communication skills (written, verbal or implied) to relay a message from one to another. I may not have the flair for language but hopefully I would be able to share what I have learned in my journery so far. Here, I would like to first apologise if my website does not meet the standards. If you have any comments, do drop a message or email me, I will work at it.

On a separate note, the stock market looks set to fall today. It's another happy day for people shorting stocks and 'putting' options. Happy gaining!

Good news..finally, more sections are now preliminarily available on my FINE EXISTENCE website. Wealth Accumulation, Books and Cuisines sections have been published. Although there are still loads of information to upload, the published pages can allow the readers (if any?!) to know what to expect in days to come and serves as a motivation + check on 'project'.

I can't seem to find a suitable Blog Template!

Since I set up this blog yesterday, I have been spending half the time switching my blog templates. I can't seem to find one that is attractive and yet pleasing to the eye. I wished there could be more choices or that I become proficient enough to design my own..sigh!

Wonder if anyone else has this problem...or anyone who could help solve this problem..hmm..

My FIRST Posting on Blogger

Woww!! This is as exciting as starting the FINE EXISTENCE webpage itself. I guess this should be more interactive than simply displaying my blog on my site itself. It has been more than a week since I started my webpage. The momentum has slowed; partly cos I didn't hear any feedback from visitors. I guess I need some encouragement.

Other reasons? I have been busy:-
1. Lots of trading opportunity this week with the 50-50 rate cut and the talk on inflation!
2. I'm losing sleep with the trading opportunities around the world this week.
3. I'm researching on new travel destination.
4. A friend just taught me more new tricks on property investments.
5. It's weekend!
6. I have been distracted by this new blog! hahah..

Alright, I promise more development soon but if you're reading this, please give me some feedback. Cheers!

One more thought before I move on to my site. Now I know why it is difficult to find one useful book on wealth accumulation topic. Most on the shelves are pretty general and hardly get to the point. Reason I guess is cos it really takes effort for the author to put all the knowledge down concisely. At least, that's one of my concern now. I will try my best! Do let me know if there's anywhere I can improve.
